Resurrection Pictures’ original film project, is a reworking of our Dr. Dino project.  An entertaining movie based on the argument of Creation vs. Evolution that is currently in production.

How many times have you sat in a movie theater compromising your moral values or been forced to walk out because it glorified a sinful and decadent lifestyle?  How many times have you listened to so called experts speak about evolution as if it were an absolute fact?!  How many times have you and your children unknowingly, been brainwashed by evolutionary teaching? Does it concern you that recent surveys suggest the indoctrination of evolutionary thinking in society is one of the leading causes for 75% of our youth rejecting Christianity?  Why are churches and denominations also deserting the clear teaching of Scripture regarding origins?

If any of these questions describe your own concerns, then we share the same experiences, thoughts, and frustrations.  Now there is something you can do!  Resurrection Pictures is teaming up with God Quest ministry to produce ‘Genesis’ focusing on the battle of creation vs. evolution.  We’ve already started production on the movie!

The film will answer age old questions that we all ponder, such as: “Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? and Where am I going when I die?”  The answers to these questions are polar opposites depending on whether you believe that God created the universe or that we are all descended from a rock. Firmly believing that movies provide a powerful influence, we at Resurrection intend to use this project for God’s kingdom to compete for the souls of men!

For Christians this is a story that is vitally important to tell.  The lie of evolution has been deceiving the hearts and minds of humanity worldwide for years.  It’s being fed to us in our schools, on television and in our movie theaters, causing countless millions to lose their faith in God.  Evolution also directly challenges the credibility of God, Jesus, and the Bible.  Genesis 1:1 says “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” In Matthew 19:4 Jesus said “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female.” Evolution also leads to dangerous ideas such as ‘life is worthless’ and ‘moral values are relative.’

The ‘Genesis’ movie is a humorous and fascinating story of a public high school science teacher who one day decides to teach his students the truth about Creation and that starts the fireworks!  The story also incorporates a 3D animated version of the creation story as described in the bible using creation research and data compiled by God Quest Ministries.
